A caster is a wheel and a mount combined into one unit. Casters assist and facilitate the movement of carts, racks, dollies, and other items. Casters are available in a variety of materials, wheel sizes, tread widths, weight ratings, and overall heights to provide mobility to your equipment in a variety of work environments.. Consider the following questions to help you decide which sort of caster is ideal for you:
Rigid Casters, Swivel Casters, and Kingpinless Swivel Casters are all manoeuvrable. There are two types of casters when it comes to manoeuvrability: stiff casters and swivel casters. Only forward and backward movement is possible with a stiff caster, also known as a fixed caster. A racetrack on a swivel caster allows the wheel to turn. The raceway is the swivel caster's cylindrical section that houses the ball bearing track or tracks. A kingpin, which is a bolt or rivet that keeps the raceway together, is used in the classic swivel caster design. The kingpin is subjected to a lot of stress in this design, notably from the shocks that occur when the equipment collides with barriers or when huge weights are thrown on it. As a result, the kingpin is a common source of failure for classic swivel casters. Pu Caster Wheel and Nylon Caster Wheel are also very useful.
